Big Buck Competition

Big Buck Competition for the Fort Johnson hunting community. Competition has four categories and lots of prizes to give away. Hunters will measure their buck at one of three location and submit photo through the link below. 

Competition Rules 

Bucks taken only in the Fort Johnson and surrounding community are eligible. Can be harvested only between 1 October 2023 -31 January 2024.  All state hunting laws must be followed.  

Score

Points will be given for each inch of the bucks spread and each point on the rack. You must submit photos in front of one of the three MWR Big Buck Boards to be eligible. Staff will reply with your score once it has been calculated and validated.

Steel Shoot Competition

Join the Garrison Commanders Steel Shoot competition! Steel challenge - a series of pre determined stages comprised of all steel targets with the goal of shooting FAST, each competitor will shoot each stage 5 times

Type of ammo and firearms allowed - .22LR pistols and rifles, pistols and pistol caliber carbines (no steel core ammunition) 

Participants are recommended to bring 250 - 300 rounds of ammunition and provide their own equiptment!
